45 power theft cases

Bangalore: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company’s vigilance police on Wednesday launched a mass theft detection drive at Bakshi Garden on Mysore Road, behind Vinayaka Chithramandira and Giripuram Slum areas under Rajajinagar vigilance police station limits of W3 sub-division.

According to a press release, the police detected 45 cases of electricity theft and booked cases under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
