BANGALORE: Several residents of Bagepalli town in Kolar district have moved the Karnataka High Court against what they claim is an arbitrary and illogical decision of the State Government to demolish nearly 350 buildings to widen a road. In their petition, they said the D.V.G. Road is the lifeline of Bagepalli and almost all of them had started commercial and establishments on both sides of the road. They attributed political motives to the move. — Staff Correspondent © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
