Rashid wins NCR Cup

NEW DELHI: Rashid Khan posted a card of two-under 70 in the final round to win the NCR Cup golf tournament by five strokes, at the Delhi Golf Club course here on Friday.

The 16-year-old Khan will now be India’s entry at next year’s European amateur championship. Also joining him on the Europe tour will be Aditya Singh, who shot a 71 on the final day for a total card of 286.

The scores: Rashid Khan (71, 69, 71, 70) 281, Aditya Singh (72, 67, 76, 71) 286, Kapil Kumar (69, 74, 70, 75) 292, Rudresh Sharma (74, 70, 73, 75) 293, Moin Malak (74, 74, 71, 74) 296, Chikkarangappa (80, 74, 69, 73) 302.
