Lady Sivaswamy, St. Vincent triumph

Chennai: St. Vincent MHSS and Lady Sivaswamy HSS won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively, in the Renny Abraham Memorial inter-school basketball tournament organised by the Union Christian School.

St. Vincent beat Union Christian MHSS 44-42 in the final, while Lady Sivaswamy defeated Chettinad Vidyashram 61-48

The results: finals:

Boys: St. Vincent 44 (Suraj 18) beat Union Christian 42 (Sriram 16, George Stephanos 12).

Girls: Lady Sivaswamy 61 (Sowmya 14, Karpagam 16, Srividya 12, Divya 12) beat Chettinad Vidyashram 48 (Suruthi 22, Sakshi Kapil 10, Bhuvaneshwari 10).
