23-year-old held for killing minor girl

NEW DELHI: A 23-year-old man has been arrested on the charge of killing a six-year-old girl after criminally assaulting her at Kapashera here over the weekend. On Friday, the police were informed about the body of the girl lying in a vacant plot at Kapashera. The victim’s head and face had been smashed by a brick. The victim’s brother disclosed that before she went missing on Thursday, she had told him that she was going with an “uncle” to have snacks. The police zeroed in on a local resident, Sanjay, who was a regular visitor to the victim’s house.
