Social sensitisation camp begins

KOCHI: Students of the Rajagiri College of Social Sciences participated in a social sensitisation camp at Kuzhuppilly grama panchayat in Ernakulam district on Monday.

The camp involved activities such as socio-economic survey, cleaning the premises of Ayyampilly government hospital and Beach Road, house visits and cultural programmes. First semester students of MCA, MSW and PGDHS are taking part in the programme. Faculty members of the college, members of Kuzhippilly panchayat and Welfare Services Ernakulam are participating, organisers said.

Unarvu 2007 was inaugurated on Sunday. The camp will conclude on October 31.
