Cusat: final counselling session on November 5

KOCHI: The final session of counselling for B.Tech. 2007 of the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) will be held at the School of Marine Engineering on Thrikkakara campus from November 5 to 7.

The registration time is 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily. Candidates who wish to secure admission should bring the original certificates and fee required for each course. Parent/legal guardian will have to accompany each candidate.

Details of the certificates and vacant seats are available on the university web site www.cusat.ac.in and www.cusat.nic.in

Candidates who have not appeared for the Common Admission Test should bring an additional Rs.400 (for SC/ST candidates) and Rs.750 (for others) as application fee. They should also bring two passport size photographs.

Schedule

November 5: Admissions for seats where there is waiting list. All candidates in the waiting list of respective courses and category seats may attend the counselling. The waiting list is published on the web site.

November 6: Counselling for seats where there is no waiting list and seats remaining after counselling on November 5.

Admission is open to all in the Common Admission Test B. Tech rank list.

November 7: Spot admission for seats remaining vacant (if any) after counselling on November 6. Admission will be based on marks obtained in Plus Two for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
