Jewellery, cash stolen

NAMAKKAL: An unidentified man stole 20 sovereigns of gold jewellery and Rs. 7,000 from a woman at the bus stand here on

Tuesday. Police said Noorjahan (43) of Hasthampatti was

alighting from the bus, when the man took away the bag which contained jewellery and cash.

She registered a complaint with the Namakkal

town police.
