Exide to acquire lead smelting company

KOLKATA: Exide Industries announced its decision to acquire Tandon Metals Pvt. Ltd., a lead smelting company near Pune in Maharashtra. The unlisted company was a major supplier of lead alloys to Exide’s western India units. — Special Correspondent
