Jayanagar SC posts win

Bangalore: Jayanagar Sports Club snatched a 52-47 victory over Koramangala Basketball Club after leading 25-23 at the break in the State senior league basketball championship for the N.C. Parappa Memorial Cup at the Beagles courts here on Thursday.

Kaushal emerged the top-scorer for JSC with 25 points, which included a couple of three pointers, while Karan impressed for Koramangala BC with 20 points.

In another tie, KSP scored a facile 80-60 win over Sports Hostel after leading 40-30 at half-time.

Mahesh (26) for KSP and Varun (24) for Sports Hostel were the main scorers.

The results: JSC 52 (Kaushal 25, Siddarth 13) bt Koramangala BC 47 (Karan 20, Jason 12); KSP 80 (Mahesh 26, Bharath 15) bt Sports Hostel 60 (Varun 24).
