First pump spiral case of LI scheme delivered

HYDERABAD: The first pump spiral case of J. Chokka Rao Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme (GLIS) Phase II project, part of a massive scheme to cover the Telangana districts, has been delivered within its scheduled time of implementation.

The announcement came recently in the form of a press release from the Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). Phase II of the project was being implemented by HCC and Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) under a joint venture on an engineering, procurement, construction basis.

HCC’s Project Manager at GLIS D. Rakshit said that with the successful delivery, the joint venture had achieved a major milestone.
