New Delhi: This November, Star Movies will treat ‘desi’ film connoisseurs each day with Hollywood blockbusters that are laced with humour, action, excitement and rip-roaring adventure.

As part of the colourful Diwali bonanza for Indian viewers, Star Movies offers an exciting mix of some of the best films from virtually across the globe. Every Friday night, Hollywood’s top-notch superstars will enter your drawing rooms as Star Movies screens award-winning box-office behemoths for the first time in the country.

‘The Breed’, ‘Yours, Mine & Ours’, ‘Just My Luck’ and ‘The Shaggy Dog’ are all a part of this treat. That’s not all. From Star Wars 30th anniversary special, featuring all ‘Star Wars Episodes’ every weekend, to ‘A Musical Moment’, offering some of the all-time favourite musicals on Sunday evenings, it will all happen on Star Movies.

For all Johnny Depp fans there is something to celebrate as Star Movies will screen his favourite film, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’, on November 10. Captain Jack Sparrow returns to the screen for another round of supernatural adventures on high seas.

As Will (Bloom) and Elizabeth (Knightley) prepare to exchange vows, their wedding plans hit rough waters with the arrival of sea-bound Jack Sparrow.

It seems the Sparrow owes a substantial blood debt to Scottish sea captain Davy Jones (Bill Nighy). Watch the double bill on November 14 with ‘MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate’ at 5-20 p.m. and ‘MXP: at Most Xtreme Primate’ at 7-10 p.m.
