Revised draft electoral rolls on November 13

Krishnagiri: The revised draft photo electoral rolls for the Assembly constituencies of Krishnagiri, Kaveripattinam, Bargur, Thally and Hosur in Krishnagiri district will be published on November 13, said District Election Officer and Collector Santhosh Babu here on Friday.

Voters whose names were left out and those who have completed 18 years of age as on January 1, 2008 may submit applications along with their passport size photographs for inclusion at the concerned taluk offices.

The Collector said that Forms 6, 7, 8 and 8 A will be provided to facilitate for applying to the Electoral Registration Officer for inclusion, deletion, correction and part-to-part changes till November 28.

Special camps would be held on November 17 and 25 and during the camp, the designated officer will receive filled-in application forms for inclusion, deletion, correction and part-to-part changes between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The voters should also submit their Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) at the time of visit by enumerators. The last date for disposal of claims and objections is December 13.

Capturing of images and printing of supplement would be carried out till January 2.

The Collector has appealed to the public to fill-in and submit applications for Form 6 without any errors.

The applications should also include the signature of the applicant along with age and address proof. The final rolls would be published on January 11, Mr. Babu added.
