Octopals drubs Centurion

KOCHI: Jackson’s all-round performance (three for nine and 33) and Anthaf’s four-wicket haul helped Octopals (Thrissur) drub Centurion CC (Ernakulam) by 10 wickets and enter the first phase quarterfinal of the 57th Cordiant Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Friday.

The scores: Centurion 67 in 28.3 overs (Jackson three for nine, Anthaf four for 16) lost to Octopals 69 for no loss in 11 overs (Jackson 33). — Principal Correspondent
