New police stations to be set up along the National Highway 7 MAHABUBNAGAR: Home Minister K. Jana Reddy said that as many as 38,000 police personnel would be recruited in the State shortly and they would be appointed in all the police station spread over the state. Speaking at a public meeting after inaugurating new building of police station at Balanagar mandal headquarters on Monday, the Home Minister said that the police station would be divided into three categories and newly recruited police personnel would be posted in them according to the need. He said that 2,000 residential quarters for police personnel under different police stations would be constructed in the State. New police stations would be set up all along the National Highway 7. He said that mobile patrols on National Highway would be introduced to check the road accidents. Lauding the efforts of Mahabubnagar police in containing the Maoists activities, he said that development would take place only when law and order was in order in a particular area.
