VIJAYAWADA: Host Acharya Nagarjuna and Kerala’s Mahatma Gandhi Universities registered two victories each in the league matches of the South-West Zone inter-university handball (women) tournament held at ANU campus at Guntur on Tuesday.

League results: M.G. University (Kerala) bt Calicut (Kerala) 22-21, ANU (AP) bt Kakatiya (Warangal) 19-5, M.G. University (Kerala) bt Kakatiya (Warangal) 21-8, ANU (AP) bt Calicut (Kerala) 23-11.
