Cognizant reports record third quarter results

CHENNAI: Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation has reported a 48 per cent rise in its third quarter revenues at $558.83 million against $377.52 million in the year-ago quarter. The diluted earnings per share on GAAP basis was $0.32, compared to $0.20. The results included a one-time tax benefit of $2.8 million and a pre-tax foreign exchange gain of $2.6 million. — Corporate Reporter
