Krishnasswamy discharged

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president, M. Krishnasswamy, who was under treatment at the Apollo Hospitals here for stab wounds, was discharged on Wednesday.

According to a hospital release, he has been advised periodic follow-up.

Mr. Krishnasswamy was referred here from the Apollo unit in Madurai on November 2 after surgeons repaired abdominal muscle diaphragmatic injury and controlled the bleeding points.

At the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, the patient’s condition was reassessed before he was started on a normal diet and gradually made ambient.
