5 killed in rain-related incidents

CUDDALORE: In rain-related incidents five persons died and 15 head of cattle perished in Cuddalore district, according to Rajendra Ratnoo, District Collector. He told a press conference here that one of the deceased had come from Perambalur. The district experienced excess rainfall this year — till October it received 932 mm against last year’s 768.6 mm.
