Sajitha breaks two records

KOZHIKODE: K.V. Sajitha of Kannur accounted for two of the eight new meet records on the second day of the 51st State junior athletics meet at the Corporation Stadium here on Saturday. Sajitha’s exploits came in the girls’ (under-18) 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles.

Among those records tumbled were Preeja Sreedharan’s in the girls’ (under-18) 3000m; the new record belongs to V.S. Sukanya of Palakkad.
