Plea to register opinions on Wakf Act

SANGAREDDY: The Medak Minority Welfare Department in a press release on Sunday sought opinions of general public on two draft regulations on Wakf Act through the web or by post. The eight-member committee headed by Ahadulla Khan submitted draft proposals on the structure to executive and review councils to overcome the lacunae in the 1995 Wakf Act.

Government appointed the committee to frame a structure to put a tab on the increasing number of litigations in the absence of a reconciliation structure under the Act. Interested should send their suggestions to http://aspwakfboard.ap,
