Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in final

NEW DELHI: Shubhankar Sharda’s all-round performance (three for 62, 79 and 34 not out) helped Sardar Patel Vidyalaya beat Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura, by eight wickets and make it to the final of the G.C. Mittal memorial cricket tournament here.

The scores: Bal Bharti PS 172 in 43.2 overs (Karan Wahi 66, Ujjawal Gahrotra 33, Siddharth Sharma four for 25, Shubhankar Sharda three for 62) & 114 in 31.2 overs (Abhinav Sharma 42, Chyan Gera 30, Raghav Kakkar three for 25, Aditya Jain three for 45) lost to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya 200 for nine in 50 overs (Shubhankar Sharda 79, Amandeep Singh 33, Sanit Juneja five for 63) & 92 for two in 16.1 overs (Kartik Abhi 37 not out, Shubhankar Sharda 34 not out).
