Dharna organised

Thiruvananthapuram: The Communist Marxist Party (CMP) organised dharnas in several centres across the State on Thursday to protest against what it described as the massacre in Nandigram by the CPI(M). The dharna before the Martyrs Column in Thiruvananthapuram was inaugurated by the Opposition Deputy Leader G. Karthikeyan. Freedom fighter K.E. Mamen and C.P. John were among those who participated. The dharna in Kannur was inaugurated by the CMP general secretary M.V. Raghavan.
