YoungWorld Fest from Wednesday

BANGALORE: Children, get ready to express your feeling of happiness through music, dance and words as the curtains of the annual mega event, The Hindu YoungWorld Fest 2007, will go up on November 21.

The event open for the students of schools that are part of The Hindu’s NIE programme will be held at the NMKRV College Auditorium, Jayanagar 3rd Block. Many interesting competitions have been lined up during the festival. The preliminary round will be held on November 21 and November 22, while the grand finale is slated for November 23. Over 5,000 children from 200 schools are expected to participate in the grand spectacle that is billed as the “most eagerly looked forward to event.” Registration forms have been sent to the schools and they [forms] have to be sent back to The Hindu, Bangalore office, at the earliest. The participants should report at 9.30 a.m. on all days at the venue. The event is sponsored by Canara Bank.
