Woman killed in fire

VILLUPURAM: Four huts were destroyed and D. Valliammai (70) was charred to death in a fire at Kumarakuppam on Thursday night.

The police said the fire spread rapidly owing to strong winds. Fire service personnel fought for two hours and put down the blaze.
