Red Hills wins championship

Hyderababd: Red Hills won the junior State hockey championship defeating Medak 7-6 in sudden death in the final here, on Saturday.

The teams were locked 2-2 at the end of regulation time. For Red Hills, Venugopal and Cripson scored, while for Medak Kiran Kumar and Ramakrishna Sr. netted one each.

In the tie-breaker, the teams were locked 4-4. But in the sudden death, Venugopal clinched the issue for Red Hills, while Ramakrishna Sr. missed for Medak. — Principal Correspondent
