PATNA: In view of the 48-hour bandh call given by the CPI(Maoist) in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and Chhattisgarh from Monday on the Nandigram issue, the Bihar government has issued a high alert to prevent untoward incidents. District police officials have been asked to keep personnel ready to provide security to vital installations. Raids Additional police force had been deployed in districts where the naxalites have a sizeable presence.
