Direct tax collections up 43 p.c.

NEW DELHI: The Central Government has garnered 42.9 per cent more direct tax revenue at Rs. 1,40,373 crore till November 15 this fiscal as compared to Rs. 98,216 crore collected during the same period in the previous financial year.
