PDP worker shot dead in Baramulla district

Srinagar: A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) worker was shot dead by militants in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here on Wednesday. Ghulam Mohammad Wani, also a contractor by profession, was gunned down by militants on Tuesday when he was on his way home to Chandbug village from Kunzer town, they said. Wani, whose wife is a member of the local municipal council, was an active worker of the PDP.
