Corrections and clarifications

In a cricket report “Just pride, confidence at stake for Pakistan” (“Sport”, November 18, 2007), on the fifth and final ODI of the Indian Oil Cup in Jaipur, the names of the umpires were given as Billy Doctrove and A.M. Saheba, whereas Suresh Shastri and Billy Doctrove officiated in this match. The Sports Desk clarifies that the BCCI press release gave it as A.M. Saheba, and the reporter had to depend on that. The change was made in the last minute.
