NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit announced on Thursday that Delhi would host the next World Sanskrit Conference. A committee has been approved for organising the event that would disseminate the message of relevance of Sanskrit in today’s world, said Ms. Dikshit. At the felicitation function, the Chief Minister also distributed awards to 1,100 Sanskrit teachers who were able to achieve 100 per cent results in the CBSE examinations due to their commitment and hard work. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
