BHEL bags Maithon Power order

NEW DELHI: The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on Thursday bagged a Rs. 2,108-crore supply order for steam generators and turbines for the upcoming Maithon right bank thermal power project in Jharkhand. The order for the greenfield project has been placed by Maithon Power Ltd, a joint venture of Tata Power and the Damodar Valley Corporation, according to an official statement by BHEL here. — Special Correspondent
