Triple crown for Sneha

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sneha Susan Thomas of Kerala won a triple in the AITA National talent series tennis tournament here on Friday. She won the singles titles in the girls’ under-14 and under-12 sections, and also won the under-14 doubles crown with Shloka Kumar.

The results (all finals): Boys: Under-14: Singles: Anand George (Ker) bt J.S. Arun Raj 6-0, 6-2. Doubles: Jayanth Jayaraman & Venkata N. Ramanan (TN) bt Prajwal Dev & M.S. Rakshit (Kar) 6-4, 2-6, 10-9.

Under-12: Singles: S. Sidharth Reddy (TN) bt I.B. Akshay (TN) 6-2, 6-4. Doubles: Jayanth Jayaraman & Venkata N. Ramanan (TN) bt Prajwal Dev & M.S. Rakshit (Kar) 7-6, 3-6, 10-5.

Girls: Under-14: Singles: Sneha Susan Thomas (Ker) bt A.V. Rithika (Ker) 6-3, 6-0. Doubles: Sneha Susan Thomas (Ker) & Shloka Kumar (Kar) bt Madhumitha & Pritika Rani (TN) 7-6, 6-3.
