Schoolchildren visit Naval ships

Nearly 1,150 pupils from different city schools along with their teachers on Friday visited the naval ships, which were thrown open to the public as part of the ongoing Navy Week celebrations. INS Ranvijay and INS Kora received the school children and their teachers.

They were explained about the ships and the equipment on board. They were also taken on a harbour cruise. A session on career in Indian Navy was arranged for them. They also visited the souvenir shop. According to an ENC press release the ships would remain open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
