World squash referees’ conference

CHENNAI: Top officials from various parts of the globe are expected to take part in the World squash referees’ conference to be held in the city on December 4 and 5.

The conference is timed to end a day before the World men’s team championship. According to a press release from the Squash Rackets Federation of India, the conference will provide an opportunity for the referees to discuss the latest developments in international refereeing as also steps taken by the WSF to improve refereeing.

The Organising Chairman, N. Ramachandran has said that he expected the conference to be of immense benefit to the referees in India. — Special Correspondent
