BVS upstages Kasba Brothers

MANGALORE: Bengre Vidyarthi Sangha wiped out a half-time deficit to beat Kasba Brothers by the odd goal in three in the Dakshina Kannada District Football Association ‘A’ division football league matches here on Saturday.

Ashraf put the Kasba side ahead in the 11th minute of first half. Two quick strikes by Vijesh and Mohan Jr. within a minute of each other in the dying moments of the second half helped BVS’s cause. Ajith Kumar Hegde, Joint Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation inaugurated the tournament.
