HYDERABAD: Striker P. Yeshwanth netted four goals for Kendriya Vidyalaya (No. I, Uppal) in its 8-0 win over Dr. Zaheer Memorial School and entered the semifinals of the fourth inter-schools hockey tournament for the V. Purushotham memorial trophy at the Gymkhana Grounds on Saturday. The winner led 3-0 at the break. Yashwanth struck in the 17th, 33rd, 51st and 57th minutes. M. Kiran Raju and Ravi Teja scored a brace to complete the tally for the winner. In another match, Vignan Prabodananda Prashanti Niketan recorded a 5-2 win over Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Ramchandrapuram). The teams were tied one-all at half-time. For the winner, D. Mohan scored three goals while Sandeep and G. Vineel scored one each. V. Sai Kiran and T. Anil Singh reduced the margin for the loser.
