Management training programme begins

YERCAUD: The four-day management training programme organised by the Salem Government College of Engineering for the senior faculty members of government engineering colleges and network institutions in the State begun here on Monday.

The programme, organised under the Technical Education Quality Improvement programme, would help the faculty members to acquire managerial skills. Topics such as challenges in managing people, performance appraisal system, managing differences, leadership, team building and change management will be covered during the programme. College Principal A. Ebenezer Jeyakumar inaugurated the programme. Director, Centre of Management Studies, Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad, Umeshwar Pandey introduced the course content.
