HYDERABAD: Several employees of the five regional rural banks (RRBs) in the State will participate in a dharna in front of Parliament in New Delhi on Tuesday, following a call given by the Joint Forum of Gramin Banks Unions (JFGBU). The JFGBU’s demands included implementation of banking pension settlement 1993, 1994 in the RRBs; parity with sponsor banks in all allowances and benefits; continuing of compassionate appointments scheme 1982 in the RRBs; and business-linked manpower planning, recruitment and promotion in the banks, according to General secretary of the AP RRB Employees Association S.
