Big win for Flora

VIJAYAWADA: Flora English Medium School defeated Railway Mixed High school by 80 runs, while Kumar Public School outplayed Nobel Kids High School by 75 runs in the Krishna District Cricket Association’s inter-schools tournament for Nori Sivaramakrishna Trophy here on Monday.

The scores: Flora PS 119 in 25.4 overs (Uday six for 20) bt Railway Mixed HS 39 in 9.5 overs (Ganesh four for 17, Bhanu Venkat three for 12); Kumar PS 117 in 33.1 overs (Venkatesh six for 15) bt Nobel Kids HS 42 in 16.3 overs (Sai Chand three for 15); Samvida 37 in 17.2 overs (Vinod Kumar three for seven, Bhima Rao three for three) lost to Sri Kakatiya HS 38 for 1 in 5.2 overs.
