Kavin helps MVM post a six-wkt. win

Chennai: Kavin’s 58 and two wickets for 22 runs helped Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) beat DAV (Mogappair) by six wickets, in the Don Bosco-MRF under-11 cricket tournament, here.

The scores: Chettinad Vidyashram 107 for five in 20 overs (Shyam Sundhar 43 not out) bt Jawahar Vidyalaya HSS 74 in 19.3 overs (Samruth two for eight, Siddarath two for 15).

DAV (Mogappair) 115 for eight in 20 overs (S. Adithya 28, T. Ashwin 27, Kavin two for 22, Sudhar Shan two for 28, Natraj two For 18) lost to Maharishi Vidya Mandir 116 for four in 17.5 Overs (Kavin 58, Ashwin two for 16).

PSBB (TP Road) 86 in 20 overs (Nilesh two for 13, Sada Gopan two for five, Rakesh three for nine) lost to Santhome HSS 90 for no loss in 14.5 overs (Vishal 51 not out, Rakesh 23 not out).
