Chinna Reddy is rural institute chief

HYDERABAD: Rural Development Minister G. Chinna Reddy on Wednesday assumed charge as the chairman of Swami Ramananda Theertha Rural Institute.

Speaking after taking over the charge, Dr. Chinna Reddy said Swami Ramananda Theertha Rural Institute in Bhoodan Pochampalli would be converted into a rural university next year. He said work on establishment of the varsity was going on at a fast pace and a legislation to accord the status of rural varsity would be introduced in the Assembly.
