Karnataka Assembly dissolved

BANGALORE: President Pratibha Patil, acting on the recommendation of the Union Cabinet, has dissolved the 12th Karnataka Legislative Assembly, according to a Rashtrapathi Bhavan communiqué received at the Raj Bhavan here late on Wednesday night. Karnataka is under President’s rule from November 19, after the then Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa resigned. — Special Correspondent
