Transco official convicted in corruption case

HYDERABAD: A local court sentenced K. Chandra Mohan Rao, former assistant engineer of APTransco, Erragadda section, to undergo one-year rigorous imprisonment following his conviction in a corruption case.

Rao was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials six years ago on charge of receiving Rs. 5,000 bribe from a person, a press release said.
