New Delhi: Veteran Marxist leader Harkishan Singh Surjeet underwent a surgery at a private hospital in Noida on Wednesday. Doctors said on Saturday that he was fine and would be discharged in the next three to four days. Ninety-two-year-old Surjeet, who was admitted at the Metro Hospital following pain on his left thigh, “underwent an interventional procedure for blood clots in the left thigh vein,” a hospital spokesperson said. The spokesperson said Mr. Surjeet would be discharged in the next three-four days.— PTI
