K.V. Krishna Rao’s wife passes away

HYDERABAD: Radha Krishna Rao, 75, wife of Gen. (retd.) K.V. Krishna Rao, former Chief of Army Staff and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, died here on Saturday night. She was ailing for the last six years. She is survived by a son and a daughter. In a condolence message on Sunday Governor N.D. Tiwari expressed grief at the passing away of Mrs. Rao, who, he said, was a great source of strength to Gen. Rao in discharging his important assignments. –Special Correspondent
