TOKYO: Jeev Milkha Singh came agonisingly close to defending his title at the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup but was done in by a double bogey and had to settle for a tied third finish here on Sunday. Jeev carded a two-under 68 in his final round to for an aggregate of nine-under 271, two shots behind Australian Brendan Jones who took won with a final round nine-under 61. At Siem Reap, Harmeet Kahlon signed off with two-under 70 to finish 10th in the Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open, while Arjun Singh finished tied 18th after his final round of 73.
