Gurpreet wins gold

HYDERABAD: Gurpreet Singh of Punjab Police won the gold in the elimination race for men in the National cycling championships for seniors, juniors and sub-juniors which got underway at the OU Cycling Velodrome here on Monday.

The results: Elimination Race: Men: Final: 1. Gurpreet Singh (Punjab Police), 2. Michael Currian (AP), 3. Gurbaj Singh (Pun). Qualifiers for semifinals: 1km scratch boys: U-17: J.
