VISAKHAPATNAM: Karnataka moved into the quarterfinals of the all-India under-22 cricket tournament for the C.K. Nayudu Trophy, beating Punjab by 62 runs at the Port Stadium here on Monday. Off-spinner Arjun (four wickets) and medium-pacer S.K. Akshay (three wickets) restricted Punjab to 212 after it resumed at 15 for one on the final day. In the quarterfinals from December 6 to 9, Karnataka meets Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, which beat Rajasthan on Sunday, takes on Bengal.
