Double for Madras University

VELLORE: Madras University bagged both the men’s and women’s titles in the South Zone inter-University table tennis tournament which concluded at the VITU here on Monday.

In the men’s final, Madras blanked Osmania 3-0. Visvesvaraya Technological University (Belgaum) finished third.

In the women’s final, Madras defeated Anna 3-0. MG University (Kottayam) was third.
